"quick and the dead" certainly applies to collecting their stuff.<br /><br />Abner Jay plays what i would call blues-folk with a tinge of gospel at times. around since the 30s, but this set seems to be mostly from the 60s-70s era. it's mostly just Abner and his electric banjo. you get some harmonica and cymbals here and there, but the focus is always Abner. dark and depressing songs of loss, suffering, and addiction.
